The consortium of the PRO-OPT research project under the lead of DSA organised the 2. milestone meeting on the premises of Fraunhofer IESE in Kaiserslautern. The project results were presented to representatives of the project sponsor DLR and accompanying researchers now that the 2. project year has been accomplished. Without exception the project sponsor and accompanying researchers gave their positive feedback with regard to the results achieved until now. The highly motivated consortium is now entering the 3. and final project year.
An independent automotive contract manufacturer from the Netherlands places an order with Skylyze for the implementation of a solution for the analysis of diagnosis and quality data in the vehicle assembly. The solution is planned to go live for permanent productive use in summer 2017.
An international leading manufacturer of commercial vehicles has implemented the Skylyze AfterSales Tooling analysis solution in order to supervise his worldwide operating DSA AfterSales diagnostic solution. Among other the solution contains dashboards which analyze and visualize the system and software states of the diagnosis clients running in the worldwide workshop network.
On august 1st our team moved to new premises in Koblenz. As our team is steadily expanding we required more space and moved from the previous location in the Technologiezentrum Koblenz (TZK) to the so-called administration district located on the opposite side of the river Mosel. A leading German premium automotive manufacturer places a follow-up order of the analysis prototype ordered in 2015. The prototype has so far run on 1 assembly line and will now be extended to all 3 lines of the production location. The solution will go live in the respective plant at the beginning of 2017.
In early June this year’s automotive testing expo was held. We chose the motto “Connectivity meets Diagnostics“ and presented in a live demo how Connected-Car solutions can be realized by our Vehicle Connectivity Gateway VCG and how respective data can be analyzed in a targeted and value-added way by means of our Skylyze Big Data Analytics platform.
From 8 to 9 december we attended the ASAM International Conference in Dresden and discussed big data in the automotive development with other experts. Topics were the chances which big data offers to the automotive industry and the driver as well as the challenges that the collection, analysis and sharing of data involve.
