Data Engineer (m/f/d)

Summary:

We are looking for a Data Engineer to develop large scale web services and Data Analytics Solutions.

You will be part of a talented team building our innovative Data Analytics application. Your role will focus on designing and developing, performant, fault-tolerant and scalable distributed Data Analytics Solutions. You are highly motivated to research and integrate best fitting (Big) Data technologies into our existing solution to fulfill our customer requirements.

2.000,- € - 3.500,- € based in experience

Required skills and experiences with:

General programming best practices

Programming with Python

Implement and manage ETL processes, data transformations, data flows and service APIs using Apache Airflow

Experience with Python Data tools e.g. pandas, dask, numpy, …

Experience with SQL and NoSQL Database platforms, e.g. SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, InfluxDB, …

Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills and a sense of drive

Fluent in English written and verbal

Additional preferable skills:

Experience with OLAP and MDX query language

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm

Experience with TypeScript and Angular

Background in Data Analytics / Business Intelligence / Data Integration

Experience with some cloud technologies, e.g. Microsoft Azure Databricks, Azure Time Series Insights, …

Job responsibilities:

Design and develop conceptual data models for integrating, exploring and retrieving data from heterogeneous data sources and IT systems.

Enhance our existing solution platform by integration of cloud based Big Data platform and Analytics services and APIs (e.g. Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS).

Communicate effectively with Product Management, Architects and Developers to understand customer requirements.
